What are we up to?

What are we doing?

We are building a wiki (an easy-to-use Web page that lets you collaborate with other bears, cubs, otters, etc.) to create The Ultimate Bear Resource. We welcome your participation, feedback, comments & critiques, or a friendly woof, which always makes our day!

How do I make a new page on the wiki?

2 ways: Add brackets [] around a word, or capitalize two words - ex. BearBlogs.

For more information about making a new page - http://pbwiki.com/faq.php#make_new_page

How do I make an edit to an existing page on the wiki?

Use the edit function at the top of the page.

Can I post Bear pics?

Not unless you own the copyright to the pictures.

How do I upload pictures?

Help us grow

The UBR will be the ultimate place to find out what's happening in the BearCommunity. Learn what tasks need to be done, what groups can be joined, and get or post news about recent events or current activities. Tell us what would you like to find on a Bear Resource.

Help us control vandalism

Hmmm, yea there are those who aren’t so friendly. The open philosophy of most wikis—of allowing anyone to edit content—does not ensure that editors are well intentioned. Wiki vandalism is a constant problem for wikis, but with the help of the community – Fuzzy’s Squad has been created to make vandalism response quicker. We need new members to make it grow.

Tell your friends

This project is about community. The more furry creatures contributing, the better. We have also started a Yahoo group to support this effort - http://groups.yahoo.com/group/UltimateBearLinks/
